I got this comic because I saw the cartoon before I even knew it was a comic. I had hopes that DC had most of the continuity of the cartoon not knowing what I was getting myself into. My highest hope was that Virgil’s best friend Richie Foley A.K.A Gear was in the new comic, I don’t know if he was in the old Milestone Comics. I was let down. I also don’t like the new outfit, I prefered the old hoody and logo’d tank top instead of the thick jacket and the unitard. The story was a little tough to get into, but the scenery was really really good. Scott McDaniel did a really good job with the colors. I found that I couldn’t tell Virgil’s sisters apart though which is not good. This new 52 was pretty good.
