I do not normally read Star Wars comic books, however, I am a complete Star Wars nerd and will occasionally pick up an issue that takes place during or around the events that occur in the movies. This issue takes place after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and is a story about a young Jedi, Sha Koon, who is the niece of Plo Koon. The story is told mostly from Sha Koons mind (she is a strong telepath) as she recalls events from her life and is jumping back and forth from what is happening now and what is from the past.
We see that she refused to continue to fight in the Clone Wars after a battle wipes out most of her unit, and she is then reassigned to do research to see if she can find out who the Sith Lord is that is involved with the government. During her research Order 66 is given and she feels the pain of her uncled being killed and passes out. She awakes to find Anakin slaughtering the young Jedi in the temple and manages to escape. We then come to the present where she has lured Vader into facing her in the underbelly of the Jedi temple. Of course, she is unable to kill Vader but as she dies she sees a vision of the events that will happen in the Star Wars universe (the fall of the Empire, Vader's atonement, Luke reforming the Jedi, etc.). Vader and the Emperor are disturbed by the fact that she dies in peace, but the Emperor seas that he sees himself and Vader ruling the Empire without end.
I thought this was a pretty good comic. I like just about anything that has Darth Vader in it so I was pleased to pick up a comic that has a story about him in it. I like the flashback storytelling as well as the nice ending. The art is pretty good as well. I do not think it is anything particularly groundbreaking or spectacular about it but it certainly works well with the story. Overall, I am glad I picked this up as I enjoyed it a lot.
My rating: 4/5

Thank you for the review. I will have to hunt it down.
Have you read Star Wars: Legacy? It is head and shoulders above the other Star Wars comics (in my opinion).
The Premise and the cover with Vader intrigued me. I’m also not into star wars books, but based upon your review I think I might like this self contained story.
Oh yeah , and anything dealing with Order 66 must be good
@stulach
I have not, but I have heard good things. I might try to pick up some TPBs of those but I really can not afford to add another ongoing title to my comics list along with all of the other money I already spend on Star Wars related stuff.
@cubman987 – I urge you to check out your local library. They are likely to have the trades (or have access to them via interlibrary loan). The first three trades are excellent (in my opinion).
