Yes I know this is a reprint of the backups from Amazing Spider-Man,but seeing all the brilliant layouts and the restlessly inventive storytelling page after page was such a treat and a thrill.

Can’t wait to see what Marcos Martin does on Daredevil it’s going to be really special.

Stan Lee’s dialogue and captions were fabulous too; poking fun at Spider-Man continuity and history and the comic medium itself elucidating the story telling techniques, tricks and givens that go unnoticed by most fans.
