Seagle is really good at coming up with concepts.  But his panel to panel doesn’t always grab me.  This story is…a common short story/poem idea that I haven’t seen fleshed out in comics before.  The art grew on me.  It’s not really a style I enjoy, but ti does mesh well with the story.

I don’t have high hopes for this being a fantastic series.  American Virgin had a much better start than this series, but it ended up kind of fizzling out after the first arc.  I don’t know if this series is even interesting enough for more than a two or three isue run.
