If every comic book was as terrific and hilarious as Skullkickers, the world would be a much better place.
I’ve been hooked since the first issue but after this, the tenth in the series, I’m officially ready to declare Skullkickers a sure thing. Every single issue I read gets me excited, causes me to laugh out loud as I continually marvel at the sheer amount of creativity that goes into every page and panel.
I am aware that every comic I read is created with copious amounts of talent, creativity and passion. Regardless execution or the final product, that goes into every comic book. But with Skullkickers that passion and that creativity oozes out of every corner of the book like so much dwarf blood out of an arrow wound. Like the worlds of Harry Potter or Star Wars, but with a lot more blood and toilet humor, Skullkickers is an expansive and engaging environment that you can’t help but want to be a part of.

  1. I am glad you are enjoying this series. The first issue didn’t grab me, so I didn’t pick any more up. Has the quality (not that it was bad) improved as the writer & artist hit their stride? Just wondering if I should give issues 2 – 10 a try.

  2. This series has been great! Glad to see someone else is enjoying it as much as I am.

  3. i agree, its well worth a pick up, give it the first 2 story arcs and see for yourself!
