Let me preface by saying that Cap is my HERO. Since I was a tyke. I am in my mid forties now so that’s quite a while. I get everything Cap. I even fought the battle to hang my 1:1 replica Cap shield over my fireplace. And though the opposition from my wife and daughter was fierce, like Cap, I fought the good fight and PREVAILED!

Now I love Marvel too. I love this whole Siege idea. So I figured this would be a slam dunk for me.

HIDEOUS!

I could barely get past the art. I am sure that Federico Dallocchio is a talented artist (God knows that I can’t draw a simple circle and make it look recognizable), but this book made me feel violated. Like “Show me on the Elmo doll where Federico touched you” violated!

And once again we have to deal with the whacked out citizens of the Heartland? Ughhhh! They are already telling that story in Cap proper.

Thank God I had Flash #1 to get the awful taste out of my eyes and brain.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 1 - Poor

  1. I felt the same way. It should have had half of the book from Bucky’s perpective watching Cap fight and his thoughts and the second have should have been Captain America’s thoughts on Bucky. There better comic right there.
