It’s a shame that Marvel seems to have an edict that all the Cabal titles need to be drawn horribly.  Maleev’s first special was a travesty, especially given how talented Maleev is.  And this issue also looks awful.  Bad enough that I, initially, put it down without even reading past the first few pages, and it would have been a shame if I hadn’t picked it back up because the story is one of the best Norman Osborne stories since he started appearing in every comic Marvel puts out (the issue where he pistolo whips Anita Blake was almost as inappropriate as the one where they reveal that Marten in the Dark Tower series is none other than Normie himself).  It’s also one of the best uses of Doom in recent memory.

Basically, if you like the art, you’ll probably love this issue.  If, like me, you despise it, soldier through, the story makes up for the abysmal art style.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 1 - Poor
