He’s the Hero of Canton the man they call Jayne! 

This book brought back some good old fashioned Serenity.  I find the title of Better Days most appropriate because that’s how I felt.  Now first off if you are looking for this to be immediately connected to the movie or TV show story wise, so far it’s not.  I honestly feel like at this moment that I just watched an individual episode of Firefly.

I don’t want to talk about the story because honestly I feel like everyone should go out and purchase this book.  It supports one of mine, and many other peoples, love for a universe that was shot down before it could reach its prime.  Also this book is 2.99 for a high quality production although it does not have 40 pages of story as I hoped it would.

Lastly the art was fantastic.  Will Conrad did Those Left Behind, but this issue feels like he’s polished up what all the characters look like and has them down better now.  In that story i didn’t think Wash looked at all like what he was suppose to, while in this one he looked a lot closer to the actor, Alan Tudyk.  The color was fantastic and everything I thought jumped off the page.

Simply put if you like Firefly and Serenity and did not buy this book, GO NOW.
