This book was beautiful.  It was the first Abnett and Lanning book I've read, and the first "cosmic" book I've picked up since the Infinity Gems stories of the 90's.  The story itself was amazing, and the two writers got across the anger and wrath of the Inhumans as well as tied in a lot of various points from Annihilation (which I really need to pick up) and Secret Invasion, but most importantly created a cosmic-size story.  From the revelations of the Forbidden Weapons room to the bowing of Ronan before Blackbolt, this was huge.

But what really got me was the art.  Sometimes splash pages can be overdone, but here Pelletier and Daza use a number of them and they are necessary.  The launching of Attilan reminds me of when the Next Generation Enterprise broke into two parts; you see every detail of the separation and go from the minute to the massive.  And when you finally see it launch into space, it's like the Death Star.  The Skrull fleet was awesome as well.  But the aforementioned bowing of Ronan to Blackbolt was the best.  You see the abject desparation of the Kree in the rubbled throne room, the submissiveness of Ronan, and the silent triumph of Blackbolt and the Inhumans. 

If you like big time space stories, you MUST read this story.  Excellent book.
