A Review in Brief(s):

It’s hard not to contrast this issue with Avengers #1. Avengers #1 had the team standing around sipping coffee like they were a part of a book club and yet again wondering, “Am I good enough to be on the team”. However, Secret Avengers #1 had a team of people who actually felt confident in their abilities and wanted to be there. Secret Avengers seems to be the grittier of the two books, and the team where shit actually gets done.

This is the Avengers book that will be getting my money.
