Don't you just hate part ones? They're always interesting but not enough ever happens for you to consider them the pic of the week. Like the issue of Supergirl that I also pulled this week, Amazing Spiderman #584 has more filler then killer. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you just know that the truly kick ass part of the story isn't happening until you get closer to the end, or at least a little bit further towards the bottom of the middle.
Well this Character Assassination story arc is the one everything that happened since Brand New Day has been building up to, and I'm excited about that. I have pulled and read each and every issue of Amazing Spiderman since they gave it that nice little kick with the reboot and wised up by putting it out three times a month, and it's all be worthwhile. I wish more of my favortie series would do that, not necessarily a full reboot, but the three times a month thing, that's great.
Wouldn't it be awesome if the started putting Batman and Detective out twice a month each (main Batman title every week!!!) after the Battle For The Cowl hiatus is over? Now that's what I call comic reading!!
Anyway, pick this issue up, it's loads of fun that looks to get a bunch funner even sooner. Okay, my Spidey sense is telling me I should stop typing now.
