Supergirl #37

Well Supergirl #37 is definitely has a lot more filler then killer, but that is not necessarily a negative aspect this month.
The beginning of the issue starts out with Superwoman.  It shows her gear lying on her bed, but of course it doesn't show her naked.  DAMN!!  We get to read about what she is thinking a learn a little about her mission though.  It seems she is actually faithful to her Kryptonian heritage, she just might not be exactly faithful to every Kryptonian out there. 
We move forward to Supergirl's quarters where Supergirl's recently casted mother, Alura, is bent out of shape because she doesn't know exactly where her daughter is at the moment and so she starts ordering some of her female underlings to get off their ass and go find her.  PMS much?  But Supergirl is floating around in space by the sun getting her "warm on" (can't blame her this time of year) and her new buddy Superwoman just happens to show up.
The story shifts over to Metropolis where Lois Lane is approached by a detective of the Metahuman squad about the murder of The Guardian.  So much for my theory of Lois Lane being Superwoman!! DAMN.  Shit, I don't even remember Guardian dying.  What issue was that in?  I have every issue of New Krypton, looks like I need to go back and read them all over to be able to keep track of everything that is going on in the Superbooks, oh well, at least I'm getting my $'s worth out of them.  Shit like that happens when you read installments of 22 pages every two to three weeks while keeping up with numerous other serieses at the same damn time (I should really just switch to trades DAMMIT!!)
So we go back to Supergirl and Superwoman's little chit chat on their way back to New Krypton (which doesn't happen to be on Earth anymore for those of you who didn't read the last installment).  It seems as the two could be on their way to being pals, or maybe something even better (wink wink), but Supergirl feels as if Superwoman can not only be a little too convincing about things that aren't really any of her business, but also seems to ask a whole lot of questions too.  Supergril bounces.
Supergirl comes home to find her mom in her usual bitchy attitude.  She is about to have Supergirl grounded for going out on a stroll like a regular 18 year old Kryptonian alien when Alura, supergirl's mom, send her to Earth to find a fellow called Reactron who allegedly killed Supergirl's father.  Again, I really feel as if I should review my 10 New Krypton comics, well I probably won't have to read the Adventure Comics special one shot featuring Guardian again, aw man that one sucked, but I need to review the rest.  I remember her dad being killed but I thought it was one of those science police dudes.  DC really show consider doing recaps in the openings of their issues like Marvel does, it helps so much sometimes!!
So Supergirl makes it just about all the way to Metropolis where and when Superwoman (I'm really getting tired of typing the word SUPER!!) by laying down a real bitch slappin and I mean, "OUCH!!"
So yeah. Nothing totally truly courageous happens in Supergirl #37 but I couldn't stop turning the pages to see what would happen next.  And Superwoman has a smoking body!!  "MEEEOOOWWW!!"  The art is rather reasonable also.
If you got hooked back into reading Super titles with New Krypton, then you don't have any reason to drop them again anytime soon by the way things are looking in this issue.  I say, "BUY IT!!"
