Wow! This issue was a total surprise. I’ve been enjoying this series over the months, and while many of the issues have been solid, I would have to say that this is the strongest issue yet of the run. I had goosebumps reading it. This issue sees the culmination of the storyline of Tim as a part of the League of Assassins, and it was a sensational finale. What I liked about it the most was the way you saw Tim grow as he fought for his life throughout the issue. His inner dialogue revealed a lot about him, and this is an issue that defines just who this person is and how he is different from Bruce or Dick. He is wholly unique, and the conclusion to this issue really makes you appreciate just what type of hero Tim is. The story ends in a great place that will be interesting to investigate because like any great hero, his victory has lead to some new enemies and new difficulties. I’m excited to see where this series is going to continue to go in the future. The art was really great as well, and I love the Marcus To puts together his layouts. This issue is filled with energy and the action is fast paced. This was, without a doubt, the best book I read this week.
