There are two kind of people in the world….. Cat People and Dog People. Who knew Atrocitus was a cat person!

Atrocitus is also his home planet RYUT’s answer to Batman. In fact while reading this comic I was waiting for ol’ At-At to say the line, “Yes, I shall become a bat!”

I had followed the rainbow bright adventures of Green Lantern for the last few years and Atrocitus has always been just one of the background aliens that would pop up when the artist wanted to draw something fun. I wasn’t interested in his plight in the least. He was too pissed off all the time.

But now he has his own comic and writer Peter Milligan is trying his best to make us “feel” for poor Atrocitus and his pet kitty. But I’m not feeling it. It all feels, whats the word I’m looking for – contrived.

But the sure is purrdy.
