“Red Hood The Lost Days” is about how everybody’s favorite wacky family the Al Ghul’s took in Jason Todd’s vegetable of a body, trained it to kill, then dipped him in the Lazarus pit for shits and giggles.

From the very few Winick books (Batman, JLI Gen Lost) I’ve read, I can tell he is good at portraying emotion. We get a lot of that in this book. Talia still loves “The Detective”, but old man Al Ghul tries to cock-block her attempts at impressing him.

I am not familiar with Pablo Raimondo, but I thought he was good in this issue. However, at times it looked like Talia had a crush on Jason
Todd instead of Batman.

The Only nitpick I have about this issue is that I didn’t realize Talia was such a girlie girl. She spends too much time crying and being emotional (typical girl … bahhhh).
No! The Talia that makes me stay up 3 minutes later than usual at night is a strong woman, not some Kristen Stewart wannabe.

Others have stated that this book doesn’t bring anything new to the table, but I didn’t mind it because I wasn’t as familiar with Todd’s resurrection.

  1. I didn’t like it much at all.  I think Morrison’s much more recent Red Hood arc was a thousand times more fun, even if people can’t stand Phillip Tan’s artwork.  I don’t give a shit.  They should have made it more like that.
