At the request of another iFanboy on the iFanbase (coltrane68) I decided to write a review of this book.
I just started reading some of these cosmic titles. I started by jumping on with Guardians of The Galaxy because I liked the concept of the team (I had picked up the Star-Lord: Conquest storyline when it came out becuase it looked intresting and that hooked me instantly). I knew NOTHING of the back story or anything like that. Then Josh got me hooked on Nova and next thing you know I went out and got the Nova Hardcover Trade, The Annhilation books, and the Annihilation Conquest books. I got hooked instantly because of my love for Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and other various Spacey Media. Now I am all caught up with the Cosmicness of the MARVEL universe
I missed the First issue of Kingbreaker. And I had the chance to read the X-Men: Emperor Vulcan trade just the other day. I gotta say I love it. This was such a good issue. I had the fortune to pick up the First isse that same day the Second one came out. I was blown away at how good it is. I love the Cosmicness and just adding some of the X-Men to the cast just makes it THAT much more better. And its part of the War of Kings storyline which I am PUMPED about.
The issue was strong and I loved the art. The issues talked about how Vulcan was getting 4 strong warriors together to go after Liliandra and they catch up with her but she and her crew escape towards the planet that Havok is located on. The second part of the story had Havok breaking out of the prison Vulcan put Havok in and Havok getting Polaris and Ch'od and Raza and then saying that they were going to take out Vulcan. The third part dealt with the fact that Vulcan completely disregarded the envoys from the Galactic Council and just does things his own way.
This is such a good Series and I am glad that I wrote a review about it even if it is kind of a not that great review of the issue.

A lot of the cosmic politics of this fly past me, but it's a pretty nice-looking book and I love anything with Starjammers in it. There were some absolutely bad-ass Havok panels in this; I literally cheered.
I would prefer a little more focus on the X-Men characters -- I really liked those parts of the Vulcan mini -- and I'm hoping we'll see more of them as this continues.
