This is a great book. It’s really a challenge for any creator to have to start from scratch and establish a world , especially for a indy publisher. It is a great jumping  point for the book because of the introduction into Rob’s past. It reveals more iformation about Rob and his situation without losing the reader. There are some beautifully drawn panels, for instance there is a panel of rob sitting in a chair, in a black jacket agianst a black wall , but the  indication of white highlights define the shape of the jacket. Although the book is a black and white book, the ethnices are distinct and the designs of the characters are unique from one another. Jeff leaves a little cliffhanger at the end to keep the readers intrigued with a climatic event in Rob’s past to ponder and bring the reader back.

The only down side is the time inbetween books. It’s an exciting to read.  The brightside to waiting  about two months per book is there is  plenty of time to save money for the issue. I gave the story only three stars because it is a ramp up story as it is delving into his past and providing the reader with information before hitting another peak in the story arc.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
