What can I say about RASL. This issue continues the quest of Rob. After reading this issue I felt kind of ambivalent about the character. Although given the fact that the series only comes out quarterly, it’s really effecting the momentum of the story. After the last couple of issues which are clearly in the second act, I could only recommend to any reader wondering about this series to buy the 1st trade or oversized trades and await the next. I don’t mean my statement as a knock on a character building story arc, but the issues release date are so far spread apart, it bring into question whether it’s worth the exhaustive search for back issues. This series would probably serve better as a periodic released trade.

The art work continues to remain solid. I do have to give Jeff Smith credit that it’s written and drawn/inked by him( that’s a lot to undertake).

I am on the fence about continuing to collect this as individual issues, and just switch to trades. Supposedly the story wraps up around #16. One year and a half  for six more issues.
