When the Punisher works it’s usually due to the supporting cast.  Garth Ennies run worked so well because of this. On his own the Punisher is a pretty weak character, but he does seem to fill a void in the Marvel U; the void that needs to get shot the fuck up. Remender gets this by giving Frank a sidekick that we can relate to.  I’m on board for this first story line, after that we’ll see.
