I have read this book since issue one and I have never given it less than a 4 star rating. I know I've made it my pick of the week at least three times. This book is amazing. It is so cute, so fun, so sexy and so smart that it is shaming every other super hero book being made. I love that it exists in a vacuum. I love the small, tight cast of characters. I love how everything in the book matters. I love the dialogue. I love the use of skilled foreshadowing. I love that not one millimeter of space on the page isn't beautiful. I love the heart and soul. I love that I actually care about all these characters in some form or another. I love the surprise return of Humanite in this issue! To me, this book is the most organic, fully formed and masterful piece of modern comic booking available to a discerning reader.
