POLARITY #1

Review by: DavidClark
STORY BY Max Bemis
ART BY Jorge Coelho
COVER BY Frazer Irving, W. Scott Forbes

Size: 0 pages
Price: 3.99

This was very good. Bemis knows the subject well, it’s based on his own life.

Lots of dialogue, but not monologuing and NOT like Bendis.

The book is sort of a biopic for the first 90% and then Tim goes off his meds…

The remainder is great. Coelho’s art at this point perfectly reflects Tim’s mind–you really should see it for yourself.

As Tim goes manic, he believes he can hear the thoughts of his neighbors. No big surprise there right? Except, wait…He really CAN hear someone’s thoughts..and this person is REALLY surveilling him.

The last 2 pages took me by surprise and elevate this issue to a 4.5/5.

I’m in for the whole series.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
