An interesting concept by Tom Peyer doesn’t quite payoff.  Peter Parker as a vigilante protecting people who believe they’re homeless. An ever-loving blue eyed guest star is the perfect character to play off of in this story, but the issue didn’t click for me.  The writing seemed very superficially moving the plot along, instead of playing with the theme.  I know Peyer only had one issue to play with, but it seemed less like he was playing, and more like he was finishing an assignment.

Apart from some odd chin angles, I love the way Todd Nauck draws Spidey and his accomplice.  In particular, Spidey’s suit.  It’s been a couple of years since Nauck did any full Spiderman arcs, and I hope that’s amended some time soon.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 5 - Excellent
