Now this -- this!! -- is the absurd and cracktacular nonsense that I signed on for.
I knew Chris Claremont would not let me down.
Now begins the countdown until I just can't buy this anymore.

sometimes it's fun to watch trains get wrecked.
Posted by mulletpeep on 07/09/09 at 09:24 AMDude, if I was not a fan of suffering, why would I be reading all these X-books? Ron's right when he says it's sometimes like being a fan of a sports team that you know isn't going to win but -- well, it's your team.
Posted by ohcaroline on 07/09/09 at 09:52 AMHonestly, I enjoyed it. It was weird and crazy and over the top. And this group of X-Men is the group I was reading when I stopped reading comics, so they're "mine" in a way that the current books aren't. I don't see a day when I'll stop buying this. The only thing that could make it more entertaining would be if he brought in Rachel Summers.
