I love nightwing as a character, so trying not to be biased in this review will prove quite the challenge. He was great as Batman, but I truly think his calling is as nightwing. I’m interested in the story, but the one that intrigues me the most is Haley’s circus. I have no idea where its going, but I guess that’s part of the excitement.

The art is good. Barrows definitely has the ability to capture Dick’s athleticism, but the faces could use some work.

Lastly, while I love the new costume, I never really liked the domino mask. I would’ve preferred a look much like Jim Lee’s take on Cyclops during the relaunch in the early 90’s. Open at the top and around the mouth, but the eyes and ears would be covered. A perfect place to put all the new toys the bat family has to play with.
