Wolverine Weapon X #1

The forums under this title saw a short exchange that seemed to hint that perhaps Wolverine is being overused by Marvel, that his exploits were too numerous and were in danger of approaching ludicrous proportions.

If every title that Wolverine stars in is as good as this one, that would be a very good thing. The story starts with a quick setup, follows with an puzzling quest, and ends with a revelation that should ensure more interesting action to come.

The art is stark and violent and Jason Aaron's writing of Wolverine's inner dialogue was spot on, as I read his work I heard the gravel and anger of Logan's voice in my mind.

A great book with a beginning middle and end that promises much more to come. This is good comic-booking.
