Reading this comic brings me back to my younger days, racing to the television in anticipation of the latest episode of Tales from the Crypt. Nick has crafted a modern mystery/suspense/sci-fi/ horror comic, which works really well for the modern day comic!!  This story is a page turner, which had me at the edge of my seat turning each page. What will happen to Casey and the rest of the crew? What is this “school” about? Nick is crafting a group of individuals, whom we do not know, but we want to know.  I recommend picking up this issue as well as the 1st issue you are not reading this series.

Joe Eisma’s art  is ambitious i it’s attempt to bring another layer to the story. The skewing and angle tilts fit the pace of this story well. Alex Sollazzo’s cover is an excellent example of hinting at context in the story, with out giving away any vital details. I can’t wait for the next issue.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good
