This is everything that I wanted it to be meaning it was nothing like JSA All-Stars. That said, I’ve always enjoyed the older, more experienced characters as part of JSA. It’s the Golden Age ideals and the idea of “manners”, as mentioned by Wildcat, that really hook me on this book. The idea of an older villain coming back as well was a great way to tie in the history of the team, but still make it new.

I appreciate where this is going and look forward to keeping it around as my ongoing JSA fix.
