So….the point of this arc was to destroy the Marvel family?
That’s it Geoff Johns and Jerry Ordway? That was your masterful way to go out Geoff? To destroy the family I love so very dearly? To almost undo everything Morrison did in Final Crisis with the Marvel family…Plus you screw over Judd Winick’s only good comic (Trials of Shazam) in the last several years with this issue.
I dont….I dont even want to read the final issue for John’s next month. This entire arc has done the impossible. Make me not care about the Justice Society of America. I think it’s safe to say this series is dropped, I’m not even going to give the Fable creators their chance with the next run.
Should’ve ended your run with the Gog storyline Johns….Should’ve done that.

Actually, I think he’s trying to bring the Marvel family back. By returning Shazam, you know we’ll eventually be getting Billy back as Cap, and we can already have seen Freddy back to his "Junior" outfit in Robinson’s Justice League. Eventually the status quo will be returned, but that’s a story for another time.

Plus he said in a mean tone that he’ll ‘deal with Freddy’…Yeah the Marvel family could come back; but I dont think it’ll be Freddy/Billy/Mary as the original team again.
Of course it will. Billy Batson is Captain Marvel just as Bruce Wayne is Batman. They’ll take us through a long journey to get them back there, but that will always be the end result.
