I enjoyed this book. It was by no means bad, but it was also by no means knock your socks off awesome like OMAC and Swamp Thing. This was a comic. A comic worth reading, but just a comic nonetheless.

You know what would have made it a better comic? Something where I feel like DC totally dropped the ball. Something important missing from this new DCU. Something classic, and at one point integral to this team.

…Ted Kord…

This book while good, would have been so much better with Ted Kord, perhaps instead of Vixen. Want to make it even better? Replace whoever this Godiva person is with Ralph Dibney. There is such a huge vacuum in this new DC status quo without those two.

I don’t mean to write such a short, nondescript review, but, this book was just your average, not lousy comic. I’ll be buying issue #2, for sure, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes, but, if you’re not already a fan of one or more of these characters, it might not be for you.
