This issue takes a step back and looks at one of the less prominent characters in the series; Captain Atom. I didn't know much about him but the helpful opening recap was just that. There's not much to say without spoilers but this is a great way to navigate around the central problem of a high concept series like this. Really glad I stuck with this series as it is now one of the comics I look forward to most! Hope they can keep up this quality. The last few covers have been great too! Compared too the Secret Origins-esque Green Lantern Corps #50 this shows you how to introduce an older character to new readers.
