Very visually attractive book. Intriguing. With Animal Man (and perhaps Swamp Thing) giving me the horror books I need, I don’t know if I’ll pick this up, too. (I just don’t know the characters and don’t know if I can afford another book.) Some of the narration was a little laughably goth. (How to torn fingernails have a stench? The reek of skinned babies? [eyeroll]) Still, seeing Superman “Cut to ribbons” by witches teeth outside a creepy cabin was one of the best visuals of the month.
