Dammit Jim Lee can draw! He has total freedom to just dump on the other comics on the shelves at the comic store with his large panels which don’t take up so much space that the book looks cramped. I wish I had a large poster of all his two-page spreads from the past three Justice League issues. I find Green Lantern’s characterization funny as he reminds me of Schmidt from the show New Girl, the friendly douche that tries to hard to be cool and in the spotlight but mostly fails and looks like a tool. This issue introduces the heroes to Wonder Woman, whom G.L. calls dibs on. In the end of the issue Aquaman makes his way into the fray and Cyborg has officially been created. It’s great to finally have all the big members being assembled but I don’t like that Flash’s eyebrows show through his cowl. All in all this issue was outstanding.
