When you get a book like Justice League in the middle of a crossover/mini event you can't be surprised when people make it their pick of the week.It's mine that's for sure! Seeing the full brunt of the Atlantean war machine turned on the US was jaw dropping.Cyborg, who has been little more than League transport and "guy in the van", gets to be in the spotlight as he is the only remaining League member on the Watchtower.As he does this he realizes that he needs to call in the "reserves".Many people have been wondering who this new League's reserves are considering that hardly any of the characters actually know each other.If you've been reading solicits and looking at the information given to us by DC you won't be surprised by who they pick and the reserves are long time League allies like Black Canary, Hawkman, Atom and Green Arrow to name a few.Basically the people we saw in the FCBD special. It will be interesting to see how these reservists, some of whom will be going off to join David Finch's JLA, handle the Atlantean threat with the main League compromised.For someone that hasn't been reading the Aquaman issues i can say that this issue picks up after the events seen in the previous Justice League issue allowing fans of the League to stick to this book without having to by the other tie-ins.
