One of my non-comicbook reading friends asked me about Justice League recently because he was wondering what Jim Lee had been up to.

The way I responded was, imagine Warren Buffet stopping his stock trading and going down to sell insurance one-on-one with customers. That’s what has happned here. An executive from a huge company is rolling up his sleeves and busting ass, just to please the fans!! Yes. I love his artwork and while I have always liked Jim Lee, never before like this. The art is Hush quality and I love it.

I love Geoff Johns too. He is a great person and one of the few people equipped to take on such an undertaking. I really enjoy his writing because it always satisfies. what I liked most about this issue is the interactive between Batman and Green Lantern. Honestly, I wanted a “puttin’ the team together story”, but what we got was, we’ll wet your beak a little with two strong characters and slowly introduce other heroes one by one. I will continue to buy the issues, but I am not sure how what the casual fan will do.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
