Werewolves On The Moon Versus Vampires #1 (OF 3)

"I was not bitten by a retarded werewolf.  He was a retired college professor."

I did not think this book was going to be good, but I was amazed when I read it.  First off as the title would suggest this book is not serious one bit.  The three werewolves that show up to begin with are a joke.  One of them, the leader, is clearly a an idiot that wants to be in charge and have sex with the pretty ladies.  The second is the tough guy who may or may not be smarter than the leader.  It has yet to be proven.  The last is the skiddish one.  Who actually wets himself in part of this book.

The vampires are also ridiculous.  One has plans to rule the moon and take the main female character, The Captain of the police force, as his bride.  The other two are the lackeys.  One of which is out to grab the number one spot.

All in all this was a fun book.  The art done by the Fillbach Brothers was cartoony and carried the over feel of ridiculousness without being stupid.  Every so often I will pick up something thinking it will be bad and I'm pleasently surprised.  I'm excited for the next issue to come out.
