This issue was great at showing us the horrors of war and exactly what it can do it a person, and also gives us a little insight into a war-bred middle-American family. I have to admit I only picked this up because I’ve been reading Justice Society of America, but overall I didn’t feel the least bit disappointed.

It should also be noted that the Starman back-up is worth buying the comic for alone. Much better than the main story and I think it’ll have more of an affect on the coming Justice Society of America stories as well.
