Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray have written seventy issues of this book. That is amazing. But what is truly amazing is the book’s ability to still surprise the reader seventy issues later while staying consistently entertaining. The book skips all the action to focus in on a loose end in Jonah’s miserable life. That’s the surprise. The consistency is how it’s brilliantly executed with character subtleties (I love that Jonah dug a grave) and beautiful art. Fantastic.
