This story is a typical Jonah Hex written by Palmiotti and Gray, and by typical I mean awesome!
Tucci was really good overall. Some of the art is gosh-darn amazing.
But it was not consistent throughout.

Seriously how do these two come up with such great ideas about westerns?
Well, my theory on Palmiotti and Gray is that, Justin Gray is Satan who in exchange for Palmiotti’s soul, helps him write
amazing comic books.

How come so many artists want to work with Palmiotti and Gray on Jonah Hex?
I have heard that Palmiotti and Gray are great guys and of course have great talent. Jonah Hex is a classic character too. But my theory on that is that Gray being Satan also has obtained some revealing photos of all these great artists, probably involving goats. So as to pay their debt to Lord Lucifer, they have to pencil on Jonah Hex.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1.  So that’s the secret.

  2. Oh yeah for sure. Not talent and hard work … just Beelzabub. Beelzabub is a great writer, I guess.
