When Joe The Barbarian finishes, I’m going to have to go back through and re-read all 8 issues. Like much of Morrison’s work, especially that which is the victim of delays, I begin to forget what is happening in the story.

Still, Joe The Barbarian is one of those comics out right now that I consider one of the best series as well as one that I definitely don’t get. Each issue is confusing, but rapturous at the same time.

The dialogue is funny, but the idea is brilliant.

And the art – well, as many people have said – Sean Murphy deserves any and every award he will win in the future. Amazing pages.
