Such a shame that this book continues to fly under most people’s radar! The story: the High Evolutionary is experimenting with Stark-tech and the power of the Norse gods–combining the two to create the “21st century gods.”

It’s told in typical DnA fasion (well plotted crackling fun in each issue but particularly brilliant as a long-form story). While the action finally exploded toward the end of the previous issue, the intensity really piles up in this issue and I loved it–the twist ending here is particularly awesome and I can’t wait to read the finale. This whole story just feels like an old school avengers story in much the same way as Avengers Prime has (yet somehow this series has only garnered a small fraction of the buzz of that–also great– mini series) I really couldn’t reccomend this book more for Avengers fans–or fans of fun high-concept super heroics for that matter. Hopefully it will be discovered by even more readers once it is collected.

Plenty have hoped to one day see DnA work the magic of their cosmic titles in the mainstream marvel U–and now they have! Take notice folks.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
