The man who wrote Journey Into Mystery for thirty issues is better than this. Much better. Iron Man 2 is a confusing, embarrasing book that reads like the plot of a Mortal Kombat movie. Iron Man fights some identical guys one on one and then we’re supposed to be intrigued by the fact that one of the nights is… Pepper? Maybe? It’s impossible to tell with Greg Land’s hideous porn star art. This is not what I expect from one of my favorite writers. And unfortuantely exactly what I expect from Land.
