The first issue of Iron Man I’ve picked up in years was Iron Man #9. It was a fun ride, fun enough for me to pick up #10. Holy CRAP I’m glad that I did. There are people who will complain that there isn’t a lot of Iron Man action in this issue. Trust me, you’ll get over it. Better than Iron Man action, there’s a 50s’ era badasses of Marvel team up and there’s a heist. The only way this book could’ve been more written for me was if there was an appearance by Death’s Head. OH WAIT THERE WAS ONE LAST MONTH. And it was awesome.

Dale Eaglesham’s art is perfect for this story – we get the heroic action that he’s best suited for with a fun fast paced script. I don’t want to say more than that because really, the fun of this book is turning the page and getting the surprises and the cameos as well as … well, the Secret Origin of Tony Stark.

This book is definitely fun and I’m in.
