Ok. Now imagine how boring it would be to actually be in that AA meeting.
I mean without all the Fin Fang Foom and Teen Tony flashback panels.
Talk about being VAGUE! Without the images it's just a nebulous story with no 'let's just say' details. *wink*
Give me a break if this is supposed to prep new readers I guess it's a good taste of Fraction's Iron Man. Tony blathering on and on and on while looking pensively into the middle distance.
Seriously it's no wonder Cap and Pepper don't want to hang out with him. He's a walking goo computer who can't STFU about himself.
Also, all the scenes without Josh Holloway Larocca looked like he actually had to draw and it looked pretty good. Too bad most of the book is said blasé blank stare action Tony.
Props to Pepper for telling Tony to get lost though so that's +1 for the Story.

I agree that this was a mess. I’m not sure how new readers will jump in on this when the back story is so vague. I appreciate the idea behind it, I just don’t see this working.
The whole purpose of support groups is the fact that the speaker doesn’t get too specific and remains somewhat anonymous. Hence the names Alcoholics ANONYMOUS. That’s why Tony didn’t get too specific when speaking. Matt Faction has the best understanding of Tony’s character since the classic Michelinie/Layton run 25 years ago.
