  1. hmmm … see I dislike both Stark AND Fraction.

  2. I’ll admit Fraction is an…acquired taste. And although I dont love his work (I’m not familiar with his stuff on uncanny X-men) but he’s actually making me care about a character I wrote off for the longest time. If you dont like either of them that’s fine, its your opinion. Hell this wasnt even my POW I just like what Fraction did at the end.

  3. As technologically advanced as Stark is, I cant believe he waits SO LONG between backups. "Really Tony? You let the backup of your friggin brain go for a couple of months?" I mean my home pc gets backed up once a week, and all I have on there is nonsense.

    PS-Great Review

  4. @Unoob – This is the exact thing I thought.  I can’t imagine him not backing up daily if not hourly.  Except I will, because the ends can justify the means.  I like the consequences of him "forgetting" enough to suspend disbelief.

  5. @unoob: agreed. he would never wait that long. they make reference in SI to a year having passed between CW and SI. there is no way I can buy Stark waiting that long. my wife doesn’t even read Iron Man and when I showed her the last panel she rolled her eyes and said ‘no way! he would update that thing every 12 hours!’ liked the issue up until the last two pages and was so angry by that I considered dropping the book outright.

  6. …or it could have been on purpose. *dun-dun-dun*

  7. hmmm…very interesting thought. it hadn’t occurred to me Tony might intentionally have not updated it. still don’t like it but that adds a level of intriuge.

  8. Not that it matters, but he could also have multiple back-ups going over years. Turns out in all the SI, Stark on the run, Osborn, smash everything the only drive left undamaged was this old one. But I like the idea he did it on purpose as well.
