This issue was pretty to look at, but as a newly returned fan of the series, I found myself scratching my head in confusion while reading it. The main plot points are easy to pick up on: An anthropomorphic T-Rex (who is Invincible's friend? Enemy? Both?) is launching a series of planet-wide catastrophes in order to....? Invincible, who recently regained his powers while getting intimate with his girlfriend, is determined to stop him. What I didn't understand: Who is this T-Rex dude? Why does he want to kill everyone? How did invincible loose his powers, and how did they come back? The confusion is my own fault. I jumped back into the floppies before I got caught up on the trades. Still, despite my confusion, the story was interesting, And I look forward to seeing how things play out. I just have to take advantage of the down-time until the next issue to get caught up on the next 6 trade collections.
