I feel like this issue was supposed to be ‘Big Action’, but it was only a so-so story. McGuiness is normally excellent, but I feel like he wastes a lot of panels here and there are too many ‘splash’ style pages with big art on them. Consequently not a lot develops though the issue is full sized. I didn’t even feel as though I’d gotten to watch the fight scenes because you jump to ‘highlights’ of each respective scene.
