EHH???? I’ve been loving this title, truly loving every panel of it. But this issue was truly awful. The art was sloppy, a few panels really made me cringe and the rest was just a bit awkward. But the writing killed this issue. This was a series which would have made an incredible trade one day, nearly on par with Marvels in its ability to capture the magic of the marvel universe by having the “everyman” take a journey through the superhero world he lived in. Unfortunately, as this is only a 5 issue series, this truly awful issue—made worse by the quality of the first 3 issues—is enough to take the entire series down a few notches. Such a shame. I hope it can at least right the ship for the last issue. If not, this series definitely won’t be surviving the test of time after all.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 2 - Average

  1. I would have given it a two for story, but that’s not saying much.
