Oh WOAH that cover. I just noticed that it is some CLASSIC Liefeld. We’ve got grimacing, bizarre anatomy, AND pirouettes!

I did read the actual book, promise. I took that bullet for you so that you may dodge it.
I guess you’re into S&M to read 4 issues of Hawk & Dove, man, I wouldn’t even make my worst ennemies read that! :p
Hoonono, I read THIS issue and like 1/3 of issue one. I don’t hate myself that much!
Great to see that in after 15 years or so of ridicule, Liefeld still hasn’t bothered to learn to draw. You’d think he could take some of that Levi’s money and enroll at Kubert or something.
forget the ridicule….how about just a personal drive to get better at what you do. *MOST* artists aren’t content to just do the same thing over and over and not just draw the same 2 faces and 4 poses their entire career.
But hey, he’s working on TWO monthly books right now and getting paid for it, so I guess “if it ain’t broke enough to not get paid for it, don’t fix it”?
Is it true Rob is also going to be taking over writing duties for this title as well? Oh man…

Skimmed it in the store. Not good. It hardly measures up to most of what’s available.
