Picked this one on a whim and for the first few pages it seemed to be your generic high concept story. A sudden turn of events in the last few pages made the circumstances dire and off we go on to the story.

I would like to highlight the art on this book. Stelfreeze had a dynamic feel for action pages. I love the small details he put on the fight coreography and how he’s able to draw some of the “seemingly” important characters and made me truly believe that these people are integral to the story. It is seldom you see this in comics and its a welcome sight for me.

The story is high concept but nothing revolutionary. The same can be said of the plot. We’ve seen these themes and plots before but it mashed together well enough for me not to worry about it too much and went with the flow. The lettering kinda annoyed me on the first few panels mainly because it looks out of the ordinary but you’ll get used to it very quickly.

Worth the 2.99 just nothing special.
