It's great that Tony Bedard was able to continue writing a Green Lantern spin-off book after the big shake up in September. I get my money's worth with Bedard. You can tell he's a real Lantern action fan. I don't know if it's safe to say that New Guardians is the best GL book out there right now, but if it isn't the best of the three, it's definitely close. Rayner was going balls to the walls with Corps energy this month. He looked like he was about to get hooked there for a minute. He most be going through some withdrawal right now from all that. I gotta admit I didn't know how it was gonna play out there for a minute. New Guardians was a real page turner this week, let me tell you. We finally get to see Ganthet's mean side for once in this issue also. He's a real badass when you take away all his emotions!! Those naughty guardians, they just can't be trusted to do the right thing.... The art is very accessible. Pencils and colors especially. I have high hopes for the creator's involved here. I hope they keep making books of this purity for DC for many, many more moons. Yes, and next issue: Larfleeze!!! I love Larf. He is the coolest of all the Corps!! I'll definitely be writing a better review next month because I know already that #4 will be just as cool.
